Alors qu’Élisa, 10 ans, part en vacances avec sa mère, elle se retrouve dans un temps suspendu et fragile, traversé par des tensions familiales qui la dépassent. Élisa voulait apprendre à nager. L’eau devient alors un lieu à la fois désiré et inquiétant, presque trouble.
As ten-year-old Elisa goes on holiday with her mother, she drifts into a suspended, fragile moment in time, threaded with family tensions she can’t fully grasp. She wanted to learn how to swim. The water becomes a space that is alluring and unsettling, almost troubled.
